St. Louis Trip August 2012

 

August and Baseball is not a good combination.

It was so hot and humid and no breeze.

We finally went up to the top of the stadium where there

was some airflow.  We stayed in the Millenium Hotel (seen in the background).

"It's so hot," said Laney.

Found neat sculptures and fountains around the city.

 

 

"Why did we choose an August weekend to sit and watch baseball?"

 The highlight of the trip for Laney (and me) was going to the Zoo.

 

 

It was free and it was the neatest zoo we've been to yet.





 

Great G-pa Richard must have said something silly.

 



 

Laney still talks about the Hippo in the aquarium.

It was pretty darn cool.



 

UPDATE: LANEY'S 3RD B-DAY

It's been a year since I have been able to blog and Laney has gotten so big.

 

She is my little helper in the kitchen.

 



 She is never afraid to taste-test either.

Laney usually isn't overly loving to Papa, but she welcomed him with

a great big hug and wouldn't let him go.  It made his day.

All she wanted for her birthday every time we asked her was, "A computer."

She really loved the sandals Mimi got her, she put them on right away.
