Laney this week.

"My next ride will be a Harley."

She's at it again, steppin' into another pair of my shoes.

She finally is saying "Cheese!"  but only when she wants to.

Macie came over to hang out on Thursday.

They cuddled under a blanket and did not fight once...while on the recliner.

We took our usual walk to the park by our house.

Laney wouldn't say "Cheese" today.  She avoided all pictures.

Macie caught her this time with a half smile.

Good ol Foster dog along for the adventure.

Laney found her new love...bleachers!
Can't wait until Jake's Softball games this Summer....

Do a potty dance!

Laney finally pottied in the potty chair for me last Wednesday night!
I know some of you will think this is in bad taste to show the potty,
but I did it to document the proof.

 "Look Mom I did it!"

The next night Laney was runnin' wild.
Do you notice anything out of place?

She decided she wanted to wear her socks on her hands.

Night-Night time.

Silly fun at supper

During supper last night Laney and I used our imaginations
and created something wonderful out of a papertowel roll.

I don't know exactly what to call it, but Laney thought it was great fun.

Jake asked her to give him a silly face and this is what she did.

Celebrating Gma Joy's 50th

Gma Joy turned 50 on Friday so we took her to KC and stayed 2 nights at Comfort
Suites near The Legends.  Our first stop on Saturday morning was Cabela's.

Laney loved the animals and kept pointing and Oooing and Awwwwing!

Gpa and Gma took her around to see all of them including the big fish.

Then we headed to Nebraska Furniture Mart.
Laney and I found a comfy spot to rest our legs.

Laney found a chair just her size and it just happened to be a John Deere recliner.
She cried when I pulled her out of it.

Laney started to get tired and a little cranky but nothing that
a good ol dum dum sucker couldn't cure!

She ended up falling asleep on our way to eat and she slept on me all
through lunch in a noisy restaurant.  She then woke up about 40 minutes later
ready to do some more walkin' and shoppin'.  We went to TJ Maxx and
she found this hat......

Or is it a potty chair?  Yep, its a potty chair.
Laney was plum tuckered out after our big day.
She had to have walked over a mile, maybe two.
When we got back to the hotel we cuddled on the bed for awhile
then she was ready to go again so we went swimming in the hotel pool.
She fell asleep by 8:15...much earlier than normal.

We headed home on Sunday after lunch.  We said Jessie had to be home by 3pm
for work to get Joy to leave the city.  Little did she know, we had a suprise party
waiting for her at our house.  Here is the yummy cake we picked up at Costco.

Three Generations Strong!
I should have had Jake in there to complete the four...what was I thinking??

I couldn't get Laney or Gma Jean to look at the camera.

We opened up our new laptop and Laney decided to use the foam for a hat.

Gpa Wade was happy to play along.

I guess the party wasn't as exciting as I thought.

Warm enough to play in the water!

On Thursday after Laney woke up from her nap we decided to go
outside and clean out the car for our trip to Kansas City.

Laney wanted to help me so I gave her one of her cloths and she started
helping me scrub the car mats.  Then she proceeded to play in the cat's water bowl.

Just a glimpse of all the trouble she will get into this coming summer!

I think I'll go for a walk outside now....

My little girl is getting so big.  I mean look at her.

Laney and Macie love riding the Merry-go-Round.

Isn't this green vibrant?  Even if it is weeds...I love Spring!

 Discovering pretty little flowers.

Laney didn't want to pose for me.  Macie always will though.

Hand in hand.  Our legs are even in step.  I LOVE my days off
from work with the best thing that ever happened to me!
